Changes to Recertification Rule
Last November the Small Business Adminstration increased when and how often small businesses must certify their size in order to be eligible for small business procurement preferences. The rule is effective on June 30, 2007. Recently the rule has come under criticism from the small business community.
The stock will be judged “yes” if the SBA publishes in the Federal Register a notice (with an effective date of June 30, 2007 or before) delaying or substantively amending the terms of the regulation published last November.
