n March 2007, the House passed (347-73) the Accountability in Government Contracting Act of 2007, to strengthen the acquisition workforce, improve oversight of contracts and promote competition and transparency. In November, the Senate passed a similar bill.
Will the Senate work successfully with the House to send a procurement bill to the President by the end of 2007.
